Further up the highway, the quiet town of Chiang Dao plays home to the Chiang Dao Elephant Training Center. After a fairly touristy show (complete with adorable baby elephants), we get to ride on the elephants through the local jungle along the banks of the Ping River (remember to duck out of the way of the spider web).
