Like many, I prefer Wat Pho over the (much) more impressive Wat Phra Kaeo. Most only stop here for a quick photo of the Reclining Buddha, but the temple grounds themselves are just as interesting — and make sure not to miss a very good massage at the Thai massage school that maintains a building on the temple grounds.
