While in Kanchanaburi, we stayed at Apple’s Retreat, a nice quiet guesthouse on the quieter side of the Mae Klong, home to Apple & Noi’s Cooking and Apple’s Restaurant, great food and good breakfasts (yes, that’s a banana pancake — pineapple pancakes were also available).
